Aircraft parts refurbishment company in Northeast Arkansas, in the Walnut Ridge-Paragould area, needs a logistics specialist to work in their shipping and receiving department. The company receives assemblies or parts which you would be responsible to uncrate, track through production, and wrap and crate for return. A critical part of the job is working with imports and exports. You must have strong knowledge about international customs regulations. The parts typically are oddly shaped and fragile. Familiarity with crating of products that need special shipping care is important. The shipments are both domestic and international. With your working knowledge of import and export trade regulations, you will prepare accurate documents and records. You will also work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL businesses, LTL shippers, trucking companies, etc. The job has a physical component: the crating and uncrating of parts and preparing them for safe shipment. The parts are not heavy.

  • Uncrate and track assemblies or parts through production.
  • Wrap and crate parts for return shipment.
  • Work with imports and exports, ensuring compliance with international customs regulations.
  • Prepare accurate documents and records for shipments.

  • Must be thoroughly familiar with computers and spreadsheets for tracking deliveries and shipments.
