About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Lead position is responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage the flow of packages, ensure accurate inventory records, and lead a team effectively. Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments including packing and building wooden crates where necessary.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Submit correct packing lists for both outgoing and incoming shipments to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Stock and organize received items in designated areas.
• Utilize forklift for loading and unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the building.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory.
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure correct stock levels.
• Collaborate with customer service, accounting and production supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
