To handle duties of all incoming and outgoing materials in support of production. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required, or one to three months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the interviewer.
  • Basic computer/Windows knowledge required.
  • Must possess ability to learn various computer systems for data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Detect and report defective materials, equipment or facilities to immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain supplies at an adequate level.
  • Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and practice 5S procedures.
  • Perform various duties as assigned.
  • Perform work in compliance with quality and environmental procedures.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedule with little notice as required by business needs.
  • Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy (item, quantity, vendor, PO#) and accurately enter receipt into ERP system.
  • After receipt of material, print and apply receiving labels to correct items.
  • Responsible for warehouse organization, accuracy of storage and safety.
  • Unload trucks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain file of supplier packing slips and resolve receiving discrepancies.
  • Stage/prepare all product for shipping using Customer specified routing guides
  • Create final shipping documentation (packing slip, custom documents, bill of lading, etc.) for each shipment.
  • Maintain customer websites as required.
  • Monitor/document all premium freight charges for outbound shipments.
  • Resolve any shipping discrepancies.
  • Maintain customer routing guides.
  • Load outbound trucks and assist drivers with documentation
  • Adhere to all customer defined label/packaging requirements.
