As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will assist in a variety of duties at the heart of keeping our Panel Shop running smoothly, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading shipments, fulfilling purchase orders, job kitting, keeping warehouse stocked with essential project materials, and inventory management.   • Receive trucks and unload parts.
  • Stack parts into appropriate job shelves and control distribution of the parts.
  • Maintain the panel shop Miscellaneous Project Costs (MPC) inventory (wire, din rail, terminal blocks, screws, etc).
  • Receive panel shop parts and label them for project identification.
  • Match purchase orders with shipments and process accordingly in the Vertech ERP system.
  • Scan packing slips and send to accounting.
  • Managing WIP parts on job shelves and control their distribution to panel techs for panel builds.
  • Assist with packaging panels and parts for shipment.
  • Returning parts at the end of projects and clear job shelves.
  • Managing inventory of unused and non-returnable parts.
  • Assist with shop cleaning and organization.
  • Use a forklift to load, unload and move products around the panel shop.
  • Work within safety processes and procedures.
  • Assist all departments with shipping needs including IT equipment, HR supplies, admin supplies, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating crating and freight and assisting with physical crating of equipment.
  • Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience working with Microsoft office.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Will need certification with in 60 days of hire.
  • Technical school or certification preferred.
  • Experience in fabrication, machining, and/or industrial control components a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Highly detail oriented
