The Shipping Clerk is responsible for processing all outgoing shipments and receiving certain incoming shipments. This role involves using the computer system to manage shipments, coordinating with forklift drivers, labeling materials, and ensuring timely loading of trucks without errors. The position may also require performing additional functions as needed by the company.

  • Process shipments in SAP with no errors.
  • Identify and label all outbound shipments in a timely manner.
  • Support FIFO procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of incoming shipments.
  • Record all incoming shipments in the receiving log.
  • Deliver all incoming shipments to the correct department.
  • Communicate with the customer when necessary for any delivery issues.
  • Work with forklift drivers to make sure the correct parts are pulled and loaded.
  • Maintain organization in the shipping area.
  • Coordinate with repack to ensure product is available for shipment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • 6-12 months of shipping or warehouse experience.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
