Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Full time, year-round position Do you love aviation and adventure? Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 1-2 years of experience working in shipping and receiving, inventory management a plus
- Experience with commercial documents for international shipping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Enjoys working independently while still contributing to the overall team and self-motivated
- Must be able to lift & move up to 70 pounds
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions outdoors
- Comfortable with long periods of standing and walking
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to forklift certified people with current shipping experience, computer literacy / MS office skills, and patterns of strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Generates complete “Bills of Lading” for shipments
- Verifies pricing on purchase orders to the match the invoice
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Builds wooden crates for aircraft parts
- Obtains rate quotes from various shipping companies
- Drive and operate forklift
- Packages items securely to avoid shipping damages
- Invoices outgoing shipments
