Shipping and Receiving Clerk
About The Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive and verify counts on all incoming shipments. Prepare all necessary paperwork for distribution of materials throughout the plant. Enter all in coming deliveries into the Solomon system. Filing of all purchase orders and balances on purchase orders. Responsible for filling out all requisitions for department. Bending, lifting of various weights involved. Surrounding includes various climate conditions from pleasant to extreme. Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas, and equipment use. Perform all other duties as assigned/requested by management . Follow all plant safety rules. QUALIFICATIONS: Clerical ability required. Ability to operate several vehicles including material handling (training is provided, tow motor included.) Verifiable clean driving record. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license. Must be able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision. Self-starter a plus. Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.
