Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.      Description:    The Shipping and Receiving clerk reports to the production manager. This position requires advanced knowledge of computer operations and ability to type and enter data quickly. Also requires the ability to multitask, the Shipping and Receiving clerk needs to be organized, flexible and be able to prioritize information quickly. In addition, this position requires the ability to communicate fluently in English: this includes verbal and written communication. Must be able to lift 75lbs.

Requirements

  • Ability to process and complete shipping and recieving orders in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work exceedingly well with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to be proactive in meeting order requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure all received items are not damaged within guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain a just-in-time inventory level.
  • Obtains purchases items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
  • Ability to meet inventory goals.
  • All parts and a copy of the packing list are in crates.
  • Forms are filled out and turned in daily and inventory is maintained at accurate levels under your control.
  • Open willingness to assist at all times.
  • Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
  • Ensure that purchases are from approved vendors.
  • Ensure all purchases are made with updated and current pricing.
  • Load and unload company trucks to company standards.
  • Ensure there are alternate vendors of all parts when possible.
  • Maintain expected levels of inventory.
  • Update all departments on orders.
  • Maintain all records.
  • Create all required reports.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Aisles are kept clear and shelves organized.
  • Ability to drive and operate forklift as needed.
  • Ensure open flow of communication with all departments.
  • Any other task assigned by management.
  • Check job packing lists, pull all parts that are in stock for that job, pack all parts securely and make a detailed itemized packing list.
  • Read, understand, and apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines for inventory control.
  • Aid and assist any and all departments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and maintaining inventory for minimum and maximum quantities, adhering to the policies, procedures and set guidelines.
  • Monitor all inventory levels and determine appropriate delivery dates.
  • Load and unload trucks as required.
  • Received inventory is put away in a timely manner.
  • Manage good working relationships with all departments.
  • Coordinate and evaluate all purchases for accuracy.
  • Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Track status of orders.
  • Review all deliveries against purchase orders, under orders, over orders, and for damage.
  • Ensure all receivers are matched up to purchase orders.
  • Produce and maintain all reports.
  • Maintain all records.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Review, pull, pack, and create list for job install parts.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all parts pulled and or used daily. See company policy and procedure.
  • Any other task assigned by management.
  • Ability to cross help team members within all departments.
