Job Summary Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM To ensure continuous and efficient operation of the shipping and billing duties. To assist in the management and reconciliation of 3rd party and internal inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Associates degree, or equivalent experience required.
  • Requires one to three years of manufacturing experience in the food industry
  • On-the-job training of 0-3 months
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled settings
  • Experience with perishable items
  • Proven record of accomplishment in safe working practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
  • Goal oriented & well organized
  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time
  • Basic data entry and simple formatting of documents

Responsibilities

  • Always adhere to safe working practices
  • Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your manager
  • Coordinate the release of product from 3rd party storage facilities for shipping or pick-up
  • Ensure bill of ladings are completed correctly and prompt
  • Enter ASN Data when required
  • Prepare and follow customer shipping requirements
  • Coordinate the daily truck loads and assist on appointments schedules
  • Unload vehicles efficiently and within a timely manner when needed
  • Organize and prioritize pick-order for the day
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Notify planning of any unforeseen shorts.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely to enable clear traceability
  • Follow the company Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s)
  • Always ensure clean and tidy shipping office
  • Plan all activities to reduce downtime
  • Record data
  • Manage Ross system transactions.
  • Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes
  • Take instructions from supervisors or leads
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management
