About The Position

This role performs a variety of operations connected with the receipt and shipment of products. Verify, record and deliver all incoming products Enter all receipts in oracle Unload all delivery trucks (forklift) outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipping. Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measure item to verify against invoices, orders or other records.

Requirements

Ability to use UPS/Fed-Ex transactions terminals
Precise and effective phone communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Self-Starter
Ability to learn and apply new skills
Accuracy important (systems transactions)
Ability to interact with truck vendors
High School Diploma or GED Certificate and equivalent experience (On the Job Training)
PC with Windows, Oracle or Database experience is required
Fluency in English Required
Ability to safely lift up to 70lbs, team lift over 70lbs required
Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a United States Citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

Load and Unload Delivery Trucks
Receive and deliver all incoming products
Perform electronic inventory transactions
Insert items into container, using spacers, fillers, protective passing or using Instapak Foaming Machine.
Bind cartons using tape shooter.
Stamp, stencil or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
Post weights, shipping charges and affix postage.
Operate tier-lift truck, forklift truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from packing area to shipping platform.
Bind containers with metal tape, suing strapping machine.
Perform electronic inventory trransactions to pull orders to ship.
Navigate to and update customer portals as required daily.
Prepare and type shipping and related documents, such as waybills, express delivery forms and government DD250 forms.
Must have the ability to operate forklifts in a safe manner throughout the facility.
Maintain and organize the work area to assure safe working conditions and support daily visual flow management guidelines.
Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
