Malin's Shipping & Receiving Clerks are an integral part of our parts operation.
The successful person in this role will be an energetic self-starter with the
ability to see when things need to be done and foresee any issues that may
arise.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledgeable in safety standards and proper personal protection equipment usage within a distribution or warehouse area
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Hardworking and energetic
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Solid written and documentation skills
• Solid verbal communication skills
• Coachable and teamwork spirit
• Ability to read and interpret customer communications and common documents
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers
• Climbing, stopping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
• Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pound of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature
• Subjected to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, atmospheric conditions and a variety of physical activities such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals

Responsibilities

• Ships and receive parts and materials
• Maintains accurate stock records so inventories are current, accurate, properly labeled and located.
• Processes all internal/external customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Performs all receiving requirements, including proper routing of associated paperwork.
• Restocks all products accurately in a timely manner (weekly stock orders and daily transfers).
• Pulls orders for both internal and external customers.
• Maintains consumable stock and document usage.
• Processes all internal rebuild part orders.
• Press tires for customers and stock.
• Occasional parts delivery to customers.
• Operate the forklift safely.
• Customer service for all walk-in customers.
