Requirements

A High School degree or GED is required
Experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment is required
Able to operate a forklift and other shipping/receiving equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Basic math skills
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Shipping / Receiving experience preferred
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite) preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety expectations and report any unsafe practices or conditions
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including retrieving production parts, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading trucks for production parts and plant supplies
Inspect and unwrap incoming parts, verify container counts, and perform visual damage checks
Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups for production parts, recycling, and other plant needs
Enter sales orders and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment for deliveries, shipments, and general plant needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area in accordance with 5S standards
Perform other duties as assigned
