Requirements

  • A High School degree or GED is required
  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment is required
  • Able to operate a forklift and other shipping/receiving equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Shipping / Receiving experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite) preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety expectations and report any unsafe practices or conditions
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including retrieving production parts, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading trucks for production parts and plant supplies
  • Inspect and unwrap incoming parts, verify container counts, and perform visual damage checks
  • Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups for production parts, recycling, and other plant needs
  • Enter sales orders and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment for deliveries, shipments, and general plant needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area in accordance with 5S standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
