About The Position

Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of inbound and outbound materials and finished parts to support production and on‑time customer delivery. You’ll operate within our ERP/WMS and carrier systems, safeguard precision components with proper packaging, and partner closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Customer Service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, pliers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize own workload
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Solid customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Experience using UPS, FedEx shipping software preferred
  • Experience with international shipments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process all domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL and other carriers and couriers.
  • Determine appropriate carrier and method of shipment required to meet internal and external customer demands.
  • Maintain internal databases including intranet and ERP system to ensure accurate shipping history.
  • Work with internal customers to resolve customer service issues, including, but not limited to: shipping errors, order entry errors, late orders, packing slip/part count/PO discrepancies.
  • Proactively communicate shipping issues to customer service for resolution.
  • Support other departments (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service) with preparing and shipping tradeshow supplies, marketing materials, and samples by requested ship method.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
  • Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
