About The Position
The Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in the operations of Nielsen-Kellerman's warehouse facility located in Boothwyn, PA. This position involves working closely with a small team to manage all incoming and outgoing products, materials, and merchandise. The associate is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all items entering and leaving the warehouse, ensuring that inventory levels are reconciled daily. The ideal candidate will have prior shipping experience in a warehouse environment and be adept at using multiple computer applications and systems simultaneously. In this role, the Shipping and Receiving Associate will be tasked with unloading incoming container shipments, picking and packing Amazon stocking shipments, applying labels to boxes, and preparing shipment manifests. They will also utilize NK's inventory management software, Sage, to enter transactions into the inventory ERP system. The associate will kit and assemble products, operate an engraving machine, and relocate inventory using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Communication with management regarding shipment statuses and discrepancies is essential, as is maintaining a clean and organized work area. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently with some oversight, as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. The associate must be dependable, punctual, and possess excellent time-management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Training will primarily be on-the-job, with formal education and training provided as necessary.
