In this role, you will ensure customer shipments are filled on time and in the correct quantities. Additionally, you will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI's), Job-Safety Analysis' (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily shipping and receiving tasks. You will operate shipping and receiving computer systems, fork trucks, and associated equipment as required. You will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace. Collaborating cross-functionally between operations, engineering, sales, and quality is also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will maintain equipment and housekeeping within the work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to read, comprehend and understand work instructions
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Ability to operate fork truck, stock picker, electric hoist, scales, and label machines
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and complete forklift certification within 60 days of employment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing
  • Ability to wear a face respirator

Nice To Haves

  • Dangerous goods experience is preferred
