About The Position

This position is responsible for the administration of shipping documentation and multi-location inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• High school education or three years of experience in a shipping/warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP software.
• Must be able to get Forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information; counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other reports.
• Complete necessary shipment documentation to include bills of lading, freight bills, shipper export documents.
• Send advanced shipment notification (ASNs) to customers when required.
• Obtain necessary lab reports to go with shipments requiring them.
• Contact freight companies to schedule pick-ups.
• Control cycle counts and reconciliation of Oracle inventory.
• Pick tickets as needed and does ship confirms.
• Ensure proper receiving transaction are done on ordered items and routed to appropriate departments.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Perform necessary transactions in Oracle and Bellhawk.
• Perform other duties as required or requested.
