SHIPPING ADMIN 2nd SHIFT
About The Position
JOB SUMMARY: Performs a wide range of shipping and picking duties as required by daily business conditions such as prepares items for shipment by performing appropriate quality checks, selecting packaging materials, set up trucklines, UPS, courier, FedEx, or other shipping methods, print shipping labels, check shipper preview, light assembly, attach nameplates, setup and use laser machine for KSS parts, and select and complete appropriate customs paperwork as necessary when shipping outside the U.S.A as well as picking parts for assembly, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness of areas ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare units for shipping, perform quality checks Setup trucklines, UPS, Courier, FedEx, or other shipping method Some light assembly Operate forklift, hand truck, hoist, stretch wrapper, bander, speedypacker, etc. Must be able to understand quality standards, methods, and reporting. Ability to work from work instructions (written and verbal) Pick parts and stage them for assembly, shipping, and paint Operate forklift Perform housekeeping duties and observe attendance policies Coordinate daily tasks with other Team members, perform 360 reviews to provide relevant feedback, check email, check others work for mistakes, Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Observes company policies related to dress, PPE, appearance, attendance, employment, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Receiving, picking, inventory skills preferred
- Computer skills
- Self-motivated and make good clear decisions on own and ability to accept change
- Open mindedness
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to get along with many diverse personalities in challenging situations, while presenting a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Detail oriented and able to work under pressure
- Organized, versatile, and able to problem solve
- Results oriented with a high level of initiative.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Participative work style and effective in a team environment
- Work with little to no supervision and work outside the area when needed
