About The Position

This position is an hourly Union position that is primarily responsible to provide final inspection of out-going product, ship, receive and deliver supplies, materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to handle fast-paced environment
• some familiarity with welding/welded products
• Ability to think and problem solve and adjust to situations quickly
• must be willing to work until out-going trucks are loaded for the day
• Regular attendance, communication and meeting committed deadlines are all essential elements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently handle pick lists, bill of ladings and shipping documents and paperwork.
• Provide final inspection and band in the chain and other related products with the assistance of cranes/hoists and physical handling.
• Operate dot peen marking machine to stamp (engrave) products.
• Properly package product to be shipped.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
