About The Position

Berks Packing has an immediate need for an experienced 2nd shift Shipper in a team-based environment. Workdays are Sunday through Thursday starting at 3:00 PM. Shippers are hourly members of the Teamsters Local 429 and receive overtime and double time pay. Berks Packing is a 3rd generation family-owned and operated meat processor facility located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Requirements

Prior experience as a Shipper in a food-based environment
Solid work history
Demonstrated skills in teamwork and worker safety
GED or HS diploma
Satisfactory references
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed
