About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipper to join our Shipping department. This exciting opportunity involves managing the packaging and shipping of government contracts, hazardous materials, and sensitive electronics. The role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and safe shipping operation while communicating effectively with various departments within the company.

Requirements

At least 4-5 years of experience in shipping and logistics.
Strong proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-motivated, customer service-focused, and capable of working independently.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

Oversee the packaging and shipping of government contracts, hazardous materials, and sensitive electronics.
Maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered work area.
Work independently and communicate effectively via email and phone with multiple departments across the company.
Ensure timely and accurate shipments, with a focus on compliance with regulations and standards.
Coordinate and manage shipping logistics, including international shipments and contract-specific requirements.
