About The Position

As a Shipper at Koch-Glitsch in Wichita, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transit of equipment by interpreting drawings, setting up equipment based on blueprints, and crating equipment to meet customer specifications. Requirements

• Experience in a work environment reading and using standard and metric tape measures.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Previous use of ERP systems.
• Forklift certificate/license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and set up equipment based on blueprints.
• Crate equipment per customer requirements ensuring no damage during transit.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Actively participate in the KGLP safety program.
• Cross-train in different areas of the shop as required.
• Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety controls and PPE.
