Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to obtain the forklift certification.
• Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills.
• Works well with all levels of the organization including the ability to communication and interact effectively.
• Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for measuring final product for size and construction and number of corrugated containers.
• Operate air and power tools including the cardboard cutter, in the construction of corrugated and wood containers to specification for shipping purposes.
• Pre-Pack using approved materials to prevent breakage or damage during transportation.
• Apply labels and enter identifying data on the packaging and/or container.
• Assemble customer orders for shipment including, using banding, shrink-wraps, and heat sealer.
