About The Position

We are seeking an afternoon shift Shipper / Receiver! Requirements

• Can lift, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and sit for various times
• Can be exposed to temporary periods of all types of weather
• Tow motor license
• Ability to climb up and down from a tow motor
• Strong communication skills with co-workers and all levels of management
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work alone and as a team
• Physical ability to lift 15lbs.
• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
• Overtime as required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping area for all shipments
• Ensure all shipments are correct
• Check and scan parts and labels to ensure they are correct
• Prep orders for shipment; open, inspect, and verify shipment information
• Prepare all items for outgoing shipping; protect all shipping items with proper packaging and filler
• Follow schedule and use time wisely
• Load and unload trucks
• Help Truck Driver’s load trucks
• Accompany Truck Driver’s to warehouse and assist with unloading
• Receive and verify count of all shipments coming into the facilityContact sender for any discrepancies or questions with regards to shipments received
• Make copies of all paperwork and provide information for input into computer systems
• Updating all status changes and adding tracking information into computer system
• Assist in the facilitation of parts, supplies, and loaners both receiving and shipping
