About The Position

The Shipper/Receiver
is responsible for
the
accurate
receiving, inspection, storage, and shipment of goods. This role ensures materials are handled
efficiently;
inventory records are
maintained
properly, and all shipping and receiving activities
comply with
company procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age
• High school education or equivalent is preferred
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, email, data entry)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging materials
• Verify shipment contents against orders and shipping documents
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
• Complete bills of lading, shipping manifests, and related documentation
• Ensure shipments meet customer and carrier requirements
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor
• Accurately enter received items into inventory systems
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
• Organize and maintain warehouse areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
