About The Position

Printpack Jackson is looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver! This position will work 1st shift (7AM-3PM M-F) and will report to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. Starting pay for this position is $19.96/hr. Requirements

High school Diploma/ GED
Production experience
Strong computer skills
Ability to work in team environment
Motivated self-starter able to work independently
High level of customer service
High level of organizational skills and the ability to effectively redirect efforts on short notice
Able to work overtime on short notice and some weekends
Must display core values
Last performance review rated "Performer" or higher
No disciplinary actions beyond verbal warning within past 120 days

Nice To Haves

Previous forklift experience
General knowledge of the day-to-day operations of shipping/receiving in a warehouse
Must be able to quickly attain proficiency with Word, Excel, Crystal Reports, WMS and Prism

Responsibilities

Read and understand Bills of Lading & Master Bills
Working with drivers on load numbers, time, dock location
Provide back-up coverage, as needed, and other duties as assigned
Forklift operation
Provide, but not be limited to, coordinating and planning the shipments of finished products as well as receiving raw materials
Accurately ship finished goods
Unload and store raw materials
Load and unload trucks
Entering data correctly
Conducting cycle counts
Verify that raw materials and finished goods, both received and shipped, meet quality standards
Ensure accurate movement of raw materials and finished goods in Prism
Properly store finished goods and raw materials
Loading of late out bound trucks and LTL’s
Maintaining a safe, clean work environment
