About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator at Redpath USA Corporation is responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of products through the supply chain, including coordinating shipments, receiving goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires effective communication with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience working in a logistics field with a focus on heavy shipping and receiving.
• Post-secondary education or certification in logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Knowledge of the mining industry in an underground environment is a plus.
• Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening, and physical examination.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• High level of attention to detail, neatness, and accuracy.

• Experience in surface and/or underground mining logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with carriers and the purchasing team to schedule deliveries.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Record and update inventory systems with received quantities.
• Communicate with the purchasing team to resolve discrepancies in received goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Collaborate with purchasing departments to reorder stock as necessary.
• Coordinate transportation of goods between different locations.
• Track shipments in transit and address any issues or delays.
• Provide updates on shipment status, delays, and other relevant information.
• Ensure that shipped and received products meet quality standards.
• Report and address any damages or discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines in shipping, receiving, and storage activities.
• Perform Field Level Risk Assessments and keep work areas safe and free of hazards.
• Comply with daily, weekly, and monthly safety directives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information.
