Take a moment to watch our video: The Power to Make Things Possible Position Summary: Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Clerk, is responsible for verifying, documenting, and coordinating the receipt and shipment of project materials. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will manage inbound and outbound processes by ensuring shipment accuracy and compliance, preparing and delivering project-specific components on time, and maintaining inventory integrity through cycle counts and storage best practices. Successful candidates demonstrate reliability, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software. This position is part of the Supply Chain team and is located in Cortland, New York. This role is onsite.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in Shipping or Receiving roles
1-3 years of experience transacting in an ERP system
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly (50 lb. maximum package weight)
Ability to communicate and interact effectively
Ability to work equally well as part of a team or individually
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and technology skills (MS Office Suite/ ERP proficiency/ Shipping platforms)

Nice To Haves

Experience in warehouse storage management a plus
Forklift Operator License (preferred)

Responsibilities

Participate in all aspects of the shipping/receiving/inventory function.
Responsible for checking accuracy of received products, stock them, and record in inventory, verifying all documentation matches.
Prepare outbound shipments for carrier pickup.
Maintains precise records of incoming/outgoing shipments within ERP system.
Operates pallet trucks, lift trucks and other lifting devices.
Detects & reports any quality issues recognized while receiving or staging for shipment.
Keeps shipping/receiving area clean and well organized.
Maintenance of tools/equipment.
Works in a safe manner at all times.
Performs other duties as required.
Shipping accuracy of orders to internal or external customers
Receiving and binning accuracy of inbound freight
Counting accuracy of daily inventory cycle counts
Timely processing of inbound/ outbound freight
Department KPI’s as applicable
Teamwork and individual performance
