Eaton's CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver I. At our Raleigh, NC location they engineer, manufacture, and ship products related to electrical power distribution to 6 different segments, including Utilities, Institutions, Aerospace, and Residential. The Shipper/Receiver role offers a 40-hour paid work week with hours being 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. With full-time employment, you are offered benefits including Medical, Dental, & Vision, a 401K percent match plan, and vacation. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Provide manufacturing expertise and support including sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Show strong adherence to quality by seeking methods of improvement for all functions.
Ensure that all products and parts meet Eaton's quality guidelines and perform quality checks as instructed.
Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move, and allocate material.
Use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight.
Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights, and affixing proper postage and paperwork.
Interface with the shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery.
Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
Become certified in the operation of forklifts to transport and locate equipment and materials.

Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience using SAP or a warehouse management system.
Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel).
