As a Stock Associate at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., you will exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to both internal and external customers. You will assist management in planning for the receipt of shipments, ensuring cost-effective receipt and determining any additional staffing needs. Your responsibilities will include processing shipments as they are delivered, maintaining accurate inventory records, and directing merchandise flow from the stock room to the sales floor. You will ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare it for immediate distribution to the sales floor. Additionally, you will organize stockroom departments by stocking merchandise and supplies appropriately, ensuring aisles and exits are clear, and that merchandise is stored according to company standards. You will also process inventory paperwork, maintain records of merchandise stored at off-site locations, execute timely processing of donations and MOS merchandise, and ensure the stockroom is clean and organized. Completing daily tasks and possibly supervising and training stock associates will also be part of your role. You may assist on the sales floor as needed and must comply with all company policies and procedures to minimize loss.
