Your Role The Shipping and Receiving Associate is an entry-level role responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming materials in a safe and quality-focused manner. This position involves operating material handling equipment, such as hand trucks and forklifts, to move products efficiently throughout the facility. The role also requires accurate entry and verification of transactions to ensure proper tracking and handling of all materials. Weekend shift: Friday 6am-2pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm, Monday 6am-2pm, Will need to be able to attend training during the week for up to 5 months.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Read, follow and understand operating procedures and documentation.
  • Chemical handling experience.
  • Experience with multitasking operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic shipping and receiving duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and EHS Specifications and GMP standards.
  • Place items in the warehouse by packing/unpacking and transporting using forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
  • Duties will also include scanning, labeling, and counting materials.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental management systems.
  • Verify accuracy of orders and complete transactions and documentation per GMP standards.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Proactive identification of safety, quality, and productivity concerns.
  • Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work area and the site
  • Participate in sustainability initiatives, support shift changeovers through effective communication, escalate issues to appropriate team members, and perform duties under close supervision.
