About The Position

The Shipper is primarily responsible for loading and unloading trucks for incoming and outbound trucks. This position operates on a rotating A/B schedule, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The work location is at 1801 N 36th St, Grand Forks, ND.

Requirements

• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Attention to detail for inspecting products and paperwork.
• Ability to maintain organization and sanitation in the warehouse.
• Physical ability to manually stack and un-stack materials.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner as required by law and company policy.
• Inspects trucks for general cleanliness before loading or offloading.
• Inspects truck trailers, products, cases, totes, seals, and pallets to ensure required specifications are met.
• Loads trucks with finished product in prescribed manner.
• Ensures product and date codes are correct prior to loading.
• Maintains organization and sanitation as required throughout the warehouse.
• Performs general maintenance on forklifts.
• Manually stacks and un-stacks materials as needed.
• Correctly fills out and completes all paperwork in a legible manner.
• Participates in periodic inventories and cycle counts as scheduled or required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
