About The Position

The shipping team member has a key responsibility to provide excellent customer service by accurately packing, and labeling customer orders in compliance with shipping regulations and customer standards in a timely manner. Requirements

  • High School degree or GED
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Stand/Walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, primarily utilizing upper body extremities
  • Ability to work independently, in a team environment and maintain high rates of repetitive manual activities effectively
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
  • Able to push/pull pallets and carts with product on them
  • Must be able to multitask, be well organized, and pay attention to the details
  • Must be able to work overtime hours as needed

Responsibilities

  • Scan and ship orders in Navision following the work instructions for SML orders
  • Sort orders by carriers (FedEx, Ups and USPS) for accurate pickups.
  • Ship all customer order in compliance with current shipping regulations
  • Review and follow all customer labeling and shipping requirements.
  • Complete ASN’s for small package shipments when necessary.
  • Report inventory inaccuracies to the inventory control manager as soon as possible.
  • Safely use pallets jacks in accordance with Adventure Ready Brands and OSHA regulations.
  • Pack orders securely, accurately, and in compliance with shipping regulations and customer work instructions.
  • Understand and follow all FDA guidelines and safety guidelines in the warehouse and report any concerns to the Logistics Manager or Team Lead.
  • Concisely and professionally communicate within the team and organization to resolve issues and process orders.
  • Notify team lead or Logistics Manager of any shipping issues and work to resolve them.
  • Support other areas of logistics (picking, packing or material handling) as needed and requested by Logistics Manager or Team Lead.
  • Assist with cycle counts as requests.
  • Participate in Lean and 5 S activities.
  • Other duties as required
