About The Position

As a Ship from Store Order Processor at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they're looking for. Your role will ensure that all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will be responsible for completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. Additionally, you will help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions, while also executing cash handling to standards. Engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, you will complete enrollments and educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey. You will assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Your responsibilities will also include participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, and ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store. You will perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Interacting with others in an accepting and respectful manner, you will promote commitment to the organization's vision and values, projecting a positive image and serving as a role model for other Team Members. You may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, and will perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Preferred retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
