About The Position

The position involves designing, developing, purchasing, and fabricating assembly equipment, fixtures, and machines. The individual will be responsible for maintaining machinery to maximize efficiency, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring the quality of production. Troubleshooting equipment and machinery for production is a key responsibility, along with optimizing assembly and finishing processes to achieve product quality, production efficiency, and process repeatability. The role also includes performing initial start-up of jobs for samples and production, maintaining required inventories to support maintenance functions, and participating in and driving cost reduction initiatives. Additionally, the individual must be able to see, read, and follow ISO procedures, and complete departmental daily set-ups, sheets, and logs.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or certificate from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of three (3) years in a production environment with relevant experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
  • Ability to quickly identify and efficiently correct part defects, press issues, or equipment problems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
