About The Position
To direct, plan, organize and motivate all laboratory personnel and testing during their designated shift assignment. Monitors conformance to requirements to provide quality laboratory testing for inpatients, outpatients, out-reach, and the community. Ensures the competency of the personnel assigned to their designated section.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution with one year of laboratory experience and preferred MT/MLS certification by A.S.C.P.; OR Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical technology program with at least one year experience with high complexity testing and preferred MLT certification by A.S.C.P.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
