About The Position

Revolution is now hiring for a Shift Supervisor position in Hudson, WI. This role will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of the production department in processing materials or manufacturing products in an industrial organization. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • High school degree / GED and proven experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting required. Plastics preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing management, production operations, or similar industry.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
  • Excellent analytic skills are required; Lean manufacturing is preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual who can multi-task and lead others.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift to 50lbs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
  • Able to work overtime as needed and on short notice.
  • Shift is 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (three/four days a week on a rotating schedule).
  • The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meet specifications.
  • Inspect equipment and products to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality.
  • Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem-solving, overtime, vacations, and training.
  • Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs.
  • Authorizes repairs or maintenance for production tools and equipment.
  • Identifies and recommends cost controls and other improvements to the production process.
  • Completes and maintains required logs and records for all orders and equipment.
  • Understands and consistently performs daily tasks (i.e., paperwork, daily duties, roll testing, computer entries, cleaning, organizing, and basic housekeeping).
  • Works with production operators/team members to provide proper training to employees and oversees continual training of operators/team members.
  • Review, analyze, and act to correct non-conformance in areas of safety, production, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and support line process teams in their efforts to improve quality, increase flexibility, and reduce costs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action for safety and environmental discrepancies as well as physical and system discrepancies.
  • Support HR/Safety Manager with required team meetings and safety training.
  • Promote and implement our Core Values daily.
