About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Provide supervision of the daily operations of the Travel Plaza and assist the Store/Asst. Manager as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have basic math skills and cash handling skills
• Must have very good communication and written skills and have the ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions
• Sitting or standing or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing, and visual acuity
• Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Occasional lifting (up to 75 lbs)
• Proof of liquor license or receipt of application is due by first day of employment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the manager in supervising the day-to-day duties of the Travel Plaza and employees
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Assume duties of the Asst. Manager when necessary.
• Coordinate breaks and lunch times.
• Maintain shift activity summary log.
• Do shift change with oncoming supervisor.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Perform other duties and projects as required by management
