About The Position
The primary purpose of the Shift Supervisor position is to be in immediate charge of the Clinical Laboratory when on duty, and represents the laboratory in dealing with other units in the hospital under the supervision of the Chief Technologist midnight and evening shift. Assures continuity of laboratory operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- M.T. ASCP c redential or equivalent
- Five (5) years of clinical laboratory experience required
Responsibilities
- Be in immediate charge of the Clinical Laboratory when on duty
- Represent the laboratory in dealing with other units in the hospital under the supervision of the Chief Technologist midnight and evening shift
- Assure continuity of laboratory operations as assigned
