About The Position

The Shift Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensures safety and quality standards are met, and leads a team of production employees throughout the shift. This role is responsible for maintaining workflow, solving operational problems, supporting team performance, and ensuring production goals are consistently achieved. This is a 2nd shift opportunity!

Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing or production supervision required.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to stand for extended periods and walk the production floor as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise, direct, and support production team members throughout assigned shift.
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
Coordinate shift schedules, manpower, and job assignments to meet daily production targets.
Train, coach, and develop employees to improve skill levels, performance, and safety awareness.
Conduct shift start-up meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and company updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company and OSHA guidelines.
Complete shift reports, production logs, and any required documentation accurately and on time.
Ensure proper handoff communication between incoming and outgoing shifts.
Promote a positive work atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
