About The Position

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Tifin, Ohio molding division. This position is responsible for directing and supporting all supervisors, material handlers, and mold setters.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 5 years' experience in injection molding
A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience
Must have the ability to manage projects and have strong organizational communication skills

Responsibilities

Follows the defined startup procedures as outlined by the Process Engineer
Communicates issues with fellow Shift Superintendents/Shift Supervisors at shift change
Ensures that all Quality Procedures are being followed
Processes and verifies documentation at startup which includes filling out PV sheets
Ensures that all process documentation is completed throughout the entire shift
Evaluates machinery for capability and generate Work Orders for issues identified
Manages and monitors IQMS - real time on production machines: Full Cavitations Cycle at Standard Scrap review and reduction
Provides and receives ongoing training and facilitate continues improvement activities
Regular on-site attendance
