About The Position

The Shift Supervisor will provide operational oversight and support to all departments on designated shift. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for driving results across all departments to meet production goals and is expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality in all processes. This position will oversee training and development of staff, support regulatory compliance measures, adjust schedules, obtain materials, maintain equipment, and improve product flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four year college or university preferred
• Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing and quality control environment
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job

Responsibilities

• Increase productivity through improving existing machinery and methods, and reducing waste
• Track and reduce manufacturing costs
• Monitor timing of raw material inventory needs
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments within the Company
• Develop and evaluate improvements in applications of operations, procedures, policies, and/or methods of plant facilities
• Provide direction to shift specific personnel in the completion of their assigned duties.
