About The Position

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Shift Supervisor who is result-oriented, self-starter and eager to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working hours 6-2pm (1st shift) or 2-10pm (2nd shift).

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred
Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or leading teams
Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical documents
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
Must be flexible to work weekends, and varying shifts

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support production employees to meet daily and weekly production goals
Assign work schedules and ensure proper staffing across production areas
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams
Monitor production lines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with established processes and quality standards
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
Report, investigate, and address incidents and near-misses
Monitor product quality during and after production
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
Support continuous improvement initiatives and employee training
Work closely with Quality Control to resolve production issues
Complete production reports, timekeeping, and shift documentation
Track material usage, scrap, and downtime
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
