Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule B – Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience required, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of employees engaged in printing on plastic film using flexographic or gravure presses.
  • Monitor production schedules, adjust staffing or equipment use to meet targets, and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses and associated equipment.
  • Ensure proper color matching, registration, and print quality in alignment with customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and resolve any product or process issues in real-time.
  • Collaborate with the extrusion and converting departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and information.
  • Mentor, and evaluate team members; enforce safety protocols and company policies.
  • Ensure staff is trained and growing in operator roles
  • Manage day to day responsibilities, engagement, and success of Material Handler Team
  • Maintain accurate production and downtime records; report metrics and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Manage inventory of inks, solvents, plates, and other printing supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Lead 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement efforts in the printing area.
  • Drive Engagement for reporting team
  • Lead weekly huddles and team meetings
