About The Position

Shift Supervisor (FT) - Cook-Claus Program What youll do Working in one of our residential homes alongside our experienced care team, youll implement individual treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of girls ages 12-17 in our program. Youll ensure the safety of each child, and manage tasks that create a warm, loving home for kids who need a refuge. Shift Supervisors are also responsible for providing support to program management by organizing, directing, and supervising the direct care team on each shift in order to assure consistency and continuity in treatment. Compensation + Collaboration Were starting team members up to $24 per hour with a generous benefits package. Schedule: 4 weekdays and every other weekend, rotating between 1st and 2nd shift. Lets be honest We wont sugarcoat this. Some days are going to be tough. Those in our care have been abused and neglected, have histories of mental health challenges, and some are involved in the juvenile justice system. Their trauma is real. Theyre short on trust and sometimes quick to anger. Theyre not used to caring adults who show up day after day. But you will. You were built for this. Qualifications: Applicant must be at least 20 years of age High school diploma required Must have a valid drivers license Additional education and/or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred. Prior experience supervising at risk youth is preferred Ability to pivot, bend, twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served. Willing to pick up third shift hours with advanced notice. Ability to lift 50 lbs. non-stationary weight through the approved technique is required. Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objective of the agency. Requirements
