About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is tasked with being responsive and empathetic to guest needs, driving innovation on the floor, and encouraging a collaborative environment for all team members. Our Shift Supervisor is expected to be knowledgeable about the inner workings of Main Event and to pitch in across departments wherever needed. Main Event is described as a new world of lights, music, entertainment, and laughter, where every Guest is greeted by genuine, glowing faces. Each center is full of passionate, driven people who are serving others and making memories, offering chef-inspired meals, full-service catering with private rooms, a high-energy bar, and spaces for various events like birthday parties and corporate gatherings. A trip to Main Event is a chance for the whole family to reconnect, celebrate, compete, eat, and play, where every moment together is the Main Event.

Requirements

21+ years of age
A desire for a management career with Main Event/Dave & Buster’s
Solution-oriented with the ability to problem solve in an ever-changing environment
An attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent hospitality and employee relations skills
6+ months with Main Event/Dave & Buster’s or 2+ years in a supervisory role
Friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to create an amazing guest experience
Valid Alcohol Seller/Server and Food Handler Certifications

Responsibilities

Maintaining the center’s appearance through established facility cleanliness standards.
Holding yourself and others accountable for creating a culture of high performance.
Ability to expand job responsibilities and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
Attending weekly manager meetings, as needed.
Communicating clearly and effectively in various mediums using verbal and written skills.
Being responsive and empathetic to guest needs; maintaining guest focus while driving improvement and innovation.
Recognizing our company's core competencies and making decisions to protect us.
Professionally representing the company when conducting business.
