Requirements

• Familiarization with NIST standards, DHS 4300A, and attachment F, DHS Privacy Incident Handling Guidelines
• Experience building and managing small teams
• Ability to work independently
• Solid understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Experience with Incident response steps and Cyber Kill Chain framework
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• 6 years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of one certification
• Any 1 of: CASP, CCSP, SSCP, GMON, GCIH, GCIA, GECD AND any from the CSSP Analyst, Infrastructure Support, or IR from the DOD 8570 list
• Secret Clearance (active)
• Top Secret, SCI Clearance (eligible)
• US - Citizen

Responsibilities

• Auditing security events
• Triage alerts
• Audit shift queues
• Interface with management (contract/client)
• Coordinate data calls
• Supervise, mentor, and train shift analysts
• Provide guidance or escalation for all work being performed
• Generate weekly reports and client dashboard updates
• Manage SOC scheduling with other shift leads
• Manage an incident from start to finish
• Create timelines and AAR’s/Lessons learned
