About The Position
To oversee and supervise plant operations and personnel on the off shifts, covering all departments in the plant. This position's major function is to make sure all operations continue to run, with emphasis on the safe operation of the plant and personnel, quality and productivity of all departments and to ensure that orders are run to customer specifications and scrap is kept minimal. This includes all departments and assisting maintenance when and where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Supervising employees-training, quality, safety, production, orders, issues
- Communication with Supervisors on other shifts
- Work and communications with Maintenance regarding equipment and repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s Work Instructions, and safe quality food system requirements are in compliance.
