About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting club leadership in the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring it remains clean, functional, and friendly. This role is pivotal in ensuring a high level of member satisfaction, reinforcing our commitment to an excellent member experience. PM Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Sunday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Pay: Hourly rate of $16.00-16.50/hr

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • 18 years of age or older, required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work varying hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • This role requires travel to the corporate office (St. Peters, MO) and other Club Fitness locations as needed for training and meetings.
  • Long periods of standing and moving about the facility
  • Occasional lifting of gym equipment may be needed
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Daily physical activity includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and standing for prolonged periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Drive our fitness vision and culture by providing the BEST member experience throughout their club visit - always offering a friendly hello & goodbye and anticipating their needs
  • Provide club tours and educate potential members on the value of Club Fitness amenities and services
  • Train and mentor staff on front desk functions, member check-ins/POS, and facility cleanliness
  • Assist club leadership with daily operations, including completing daily facility audits and helping task employees with cleaning or other responsibilities based on audit results
  • Ensure proper member check-ins and kids club check-ins for the safety of our members and employees
  • Maintain a clean and organized club according to company standards by conducting club walk-throughs and cleaning assigned areas
  • Provide a safe, enjoyable, and upbeat environment for children ages 2 and up in the Kids Club
  • Engage with new and current members, pointing them to Club Fitness amenities and services to help them achieve their fitness and health goals
  • Accurately complete point of sales transactions
  • Notify leadership of gym incidents that require incident reports
