Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Six to twelve months related leadership experience and/or training.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work activities for self and others.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adequate computer skills to effectively work with company databases (JDE, Kronos, Outlook, Plant Minder, Berry Self Serv).
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• First Aid CPR AED training (provided by Berry).

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned employees under the direction of the Production Manager.
• Oversee all processes related to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and resources for the assigned role.
• Manage production, quality, scrap, housekeeping, and safety results generated on the shift.
• Ensure the conduct and morale of all associates is maintained.
• Adapt and respond professionally to changing priorities, time pressures, and constraints.
• Supervise 15-30 employees directly.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Berry Global policies and procedures, as well as applicable state or federal laws.
