About the position

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role at CVS Health is an entry-level position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This short-term role involves completing basic operations and management training while learning key aspects of the business, including customer service and CVS/pharmacy culture. Successful trainees may be promoted to supervisory positions, where they will lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations in the absence of a manager.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews
• Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews
• Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
